Industrial film and television full color LED studio light

Multiple modes, full-color adjustable
CCT mode: white light color temperature adjustment mode, which can adjust light intensity and color temperature. CCT (correlated color temperature) mode allows the color temperature to be accurately adjusted from comfortable warm color 3200K to dark sky blue 5600k to match any lighting conditions, such as the warm color of terrible sunset, the cold color of bright sunshine, blue moonlight in summer or in a clear and dark sky. The green / magenta correction function in CCT mode allows fine tuning and matching with other HMI, LED or fluorescent lamps, or accurate color balance for different camera sensors.
HSI mode: HSI color mode allows you to work together by intuitively selecting specific colors and fine tuning the brightness and light intensity of colors. The hue, saturation and light intensity can be adjusted, (HSI = hue, saturation and light intensity), and 36 million colors can be adjusted.
RGB mode: RGB color light mode, which can adjust red light, green light and blue light respectively, and realize 1.6 x 1010 colors.
Solid structure and practical design
Gvm-680rs has a solid all aluminum structure and can withstand busy daily intensive use. The rugged housing features a functional design with a built-in rear handle and bottom leg for easy operation, installation and storage of the panel. Perforated aluminum shell design and active cooling system ensure efficient heat dissipation to maintain the stable performance and prolong the service life of LED panel
True soft light source
Gvm-680rs provides a smooth and uniform beam field by combining the latest wide beam, true tone SMD LED and diffuser. The large surface area of the panel can produce bright and surrounding output, with clean and soft shadows, and play the role of Meguiar on the main body.
Intuitive user interface
Gvm-680rs uses an intuitive panel control interface to operate lamps easily and quickly. The digital display displays all useful information for the user to adjust and customize the required values.
Two large selection knobs can be easily handled (even wearing gloves) to fine tune the required parameters.
Various lamp accessories
Removable thermoplastic diffusion filters soften the beam and smooth shadows.
Optional 4-piece doors and windows can be used to control light propagation and reduce light overflow.
The optional liner softbox can be used to enhance the output of the panel. By adding a front diffuser to the softbox, the panel becomes a wider softlight source. The honeycomb front layer can be used to reduce the beam angle and reduce overflow.
Intuitive user interface
LED panel lights can be powered in two modes. You can use AC adapter and
Sony f750 / 970 battery (not included) supply, power supply outdoor or indoor.
Transport box
The GVM-680RS panel and all its main components can be stored in an optional box. The built-in foam cushion protects the lamp body and accessories for easy transportation and safe storage.

The best thing about these lights compared to any other LED panel I’ve used is that there doesn’t seem to be any flickering at all. I shoot a minute of video at 30 frames per second and start the exposure at 1/30 of each frame. Then I went all the way up to 1/8000th of each frame and still no flickering and no lines/bars. These are a game changer compared to almost every other LED panel I’ve used.

Ok, so far I’ve gotten a few of these lights and I have to admit that GVM is really growing on me. I don’t like app control as much as I like having a dedicated remote, but I do like the ability to master and slave lights, and I really like that they actually have real white LEDs, not just RGB. Best of all, it looks small, but the ability to mount these things sideways is critical to my setup, which shoots tabletop scenes and actually uses my barn door. Most LED panels really screw up their design because the brackets holding the lights get in the way of the barn door.

These are very good quality lights. They are better than I thought. The light is very soft and it suits the skin tone very well. I want to light a warehouse for an interview on a project, and I want the same light for a uniform quality. I got these lights as well as the GVM 2 light kit setup for a total of 5 lights. They can be carried around in a bag. Easy to set up and worked really well on this project. This 3-light kit is perfect for traditional 3-point lighting. Stands and apps are great for a better experience. The fact that the lamp can be set to any colour temperature (3200-5600) or set to the RGB colour of choice is simply stunning. I guess they are “great value creators”

After I turn on all 3 lights, I set all lights to the same channel number, eg. *CH 7*, with one light set to *APP and the other two set to “Slave”.To do this, press *mode* Then if using two lights, I set one light as “APP” and the other light as *Slave* To connect to the app, click the connect button on the right and you You will find BT_LED Click it to connect, whether you find all 3 lights or 2 lights can connect. It will automatically connect to all. Just use the app to change the light color and everything. I make this connection every time I turn it off and unplug it from the wall because I don’t like having it plugged in when not in use. It’s easy to do a few times. After a few days I tried to turn it on but one of the lights had a blank screen, I contacted customer service and they were kind enough to send me a replacement light.

These three GVM lights let you do just that, and more. I’m setting up three lights with NP batteries (purchased separately) and they work just fine. Key light…fill light…backlight – these three lights and their included stand are perfect for this use. You can easily adjust the brightness and color temperature of each light independently.

I’m not sure professional filmmakers would use this set, but it’s probably good enough for many smaller sets. Photographers will love this, especially the portability of this set. Like hosting a wedding or usually having a truckload of stuff ready in advance. This can be done in less than an hour. I’m using it for party lighting on both sides, and I’ll have a very special scene in three picture windows on my front porch for Halloween (assuming covid things don’t cancel it this year). The app is clunky, so I decided to use the controls on the back of them. Once you understand how things work and how to use patterns etc, it’s easy to adjust. Impressive lighting system that is inexpensive and well designed. LEDs have been around for decades, and I wonder why it took so long to start using energy-efficient and durable technologies. recommended.

I used to work as an engineer in the utilities sector and had a service issue at a photographer’s studio. I saw how he made some impressive winning photos for various commercials as well as typical family portraits. It was in the mid-1990s and he had these big, heavy lights, mirrored screens and color filters to change the intensity or color. I asked him what these costs were, he wouldn’t say specifically, but he said a few thousand. I calculated the cost of a business, probably on par with the course. Almost all of these features, and probably more, are available and easier to use.

GVM has a lot of upgrades in their new light board. Whichever price you get a lot of value for. Beautiful bright panel with lots of light output, very accurate colors and great mobile app support. I’d be happy to recommend.

You can get 3 power adapters with this kit to power all lights. You can also power the lights with NP-F batteries not included. It’s rarer than any of these panel kits, not only from GVM, and comes with batteries, but these NP-F batteries are pretty cheap. Note that 2 batteries are required per panel as the panels will not run on a single battery.

Each light panel also includes an easily removable thin diffuser. If you want to maximize light output, just slide out the diffuser. Personally, I’d leave them in because while they don’t necessarily diffuse the light to make them softer, they do mix the light output of the LED chips, so you can avoid LED panels like this possibly Some weird shadows that will appear.

Each light panel produces about 50 watts of power, depending on the color you set. The CCT mode does look a bit brighter than the RGB mode. As you can see in my review picture, using 3 of these on a triple header produces a ton of light. If you want softer light, just place one of the large 5-in-1 reflectors in front of them. You’ll have plenty of light, and then some super bright main lights. Or use this kit as a 3-point lighting setup; such as key, fill, and hair/kicking lights.

Light stands are the usual budget light stands you see in these light boxes. I would say the main base tube does look a little thick. So while these mounts won’t be overly impressive, they’re strong enough for these light-duty lights.

Using 3 lights at the same time can be tricky. GVM seems to take this into consideration and includes a master/slave model. Just set one light as master and the other two as slaves. No matter what setting you set the master light to, the slave lights will automatically match. Not only that, but they actually change to these settings very quickly, so there’s almost no lag.

One of the great things about these light panels is that there are no fans. These lamps simply dissipate heat through the metal body of the lamp itself. No fans means no noise making these ideal for interview shoots or even YouTube videos.

I noticed it was in RGB mode. On older lights, when you set them to very low power (like 1-5%), the color changes can be very abrupt and abrupt. Instead of the normal subtle color scale, they jump to pure red to pure blue to pure yellow and so on. With these newer lights, you’ll get subtle color shifts, shades of yellow, blue, and red, even at low power.

It makes sense to talk about the differences I’ve seen in GVM’s latest release of lights compared to previous versions, and one of the biggest differences is how you control them. In the past, you had to connect the mobile app via wifi. This is a big deal because it means you can’t use your phone for other things, like browsing the internet. Connecting to the lights using the app is also a complicated process that takes a while to complete. Now you are connected to the light via bluetooth. Now you’re free to use your phone for other things, such as surfing the web, while connected to the light. The lights are also much faster to connect to the app, and the process is much simpler. Speaking of apps, they’ve changed that too. This is the GVM II application. The app is well thought out and very simple to use.
